How a Cutting Wheel Works
Design: Unlike thick grinding wheels meant for surface work, cutting wheels are very thin (often 1 mm to 2.5 mm).
Angle: They are designed to enter the workpiece at a strict 90-degree angle to make a narrow groove, called a kerf.
Structure: They combine sharp abrasive grains, a strong resin bond, and fiberglass mesh reinforcement for high-speed rotation and safety.
